Weekend in my life

There’s something so special about squeezing a full weekend of memories into just a few days. This past weekend felt like a whirlwind—in the best way. If you watched the vlog, you already know the vibes were high, the city was buzzing, and I was just trying to soak in every second.

We kicked things off at Citizens Bank Park to see the Phillies take on the Braves in a double header (⚾️). Michael and I made it to Game One and even though I’m not the world’s biggest sports fan, there’s something about a sunny ballpark, overpriced snacks, and Philly energy that just does it for me.

The next day was one of those full-circle moments. I had my very first wedding dress shopping appointment (!!) with my best friend and Matron of Honor, Alexa. It still doesn’t feel real that I’m even planning a wedding—let alone trying on dresses. Alexa made the whole day feel so special, and I’m really glad we carved out that time together.

Later on, I met up with a few more of my close friends who were in town for the Grand Slam professional track meet. I didn’t get to see the meet itself (I had a work event that Saturday), but I made up for it by strolling around downtown Philly. I played tour guide and showed them a few of my favorite spots—it was such a fun little bonus hangout.

By Sunday, I was exhausted in the best way. I disciplined myself to unpack my bag and get ready for the week. Thankfully, my fiancé picked up dinner form Gazzo's and I spent the rest of the weekend relaxing.
